Job Description Of Care Worker
- To always adhere to Mary Personal Care’s policies and procedures, show a professional image, and uphold the company’s high standards.
- Personal care responsibilities will include support with grooming and rising, managing continence, and personal hygiene.
- Support services users and their unpaid carers on an ongoing basis.
- To help service users move and be handled in a way that maximises their physical and mobility.
- Enable our service users to keep up appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Participate in the preparation of meals, drinks and snacks.
- Make it possible for service users to manage their resources.
- Offer social assistance by talking and listening to service users and assisting them in keeping in touch with friends and family.
- Provide assistance with various daily tasks that service users are unable to complete on their own, such as cleaning, shopping, collecting pensions, paying bills, and doing laundry.
- Make sure to clearly, legibly, and professionally document all actions and information that take place inside the home.
- To inform the Registered Manager of any changes to the health or social situation of service users.
- To carry out all tasks in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and to always adhere to the General Social Care Council Code of Practise.
- To administrate prescribed medications as specified in the care plan.
